Restaurant “Dico Cibo”
2010
“An entire wall turned into a blackboard, a table of the early 1900s colored in white at the center of a stage, original contemporary design, vintage and retrieval details and, light installations, brush strokes, books and an immaculate decor which doesn’t leave anything to chance; at DicoCibo you breathe a particular air of creativity “.
The design purpose was not to create a common restaurant but a space dedicated to culinary culture, complemented by a functional stage for musical, theatrical or literary performances.
The idea comes from the creative research of three young advertisers with an unprecedented passion for gastronomic culture (Chiara Guarnerio, Silvia Scalzi, and Roberta Spagnoli) and it was based on the development and exaltation of the idea of communication.
The project, similar to other experiences developed in Buenos Aires in the same years, finds its focus in the transformation and multifunctionality of the spaces which, on the other hand, are strongly characterized by a reiteration of color and light.
It is a small but very cozy place with 35 seats, a large kitchen, services and an office/workshop of ideas.
