Apartment Building

The intervention represents the upgrade of an abandoned manufacturing site inside the city of San Donato Milanese.
A-side studio has followed the project during all its phases, starting with the acquisition of the area, feasibility studies also from an economical standpoint, drafting of the implementation plan, design, artistic direction, and marketing support.
The residential complex consists of two factory buildings, which are 9 floors high with an additional two underground floor garage.
Great attention has been given to the common areas, the public garden and the arcades with the design of walkways, pools, arbors and furnishing.
The key element of the project, in terms of environmental sustainability and energy efficiency, has been the use of the teleheating system, coupled with passive measures to reduce heat need such as ventilated facade.
